Your culture is what you work at continuously, even when you don’t know you are.

3rd Quarter 2017

It seems to me that we spend almost as much time and attention working on our culture as we do on satisfying customers, booking new business or delivering what we said we would. This past quarter we had company-wide discussions about what harassment is and how to prevent it, including viewing informal videos. We completed another book club around No More Excuses (after all, this is Minnesota!). We wrote stories about how we helped customers operate better without being asked. We collaborated with Habitat for Humanity to plan a fall event. We switched to summer hours, working on Fridays from 8 am to 2 pm where no one leaves for lunch so we toss in a light snack around 11:30.  We held a family picnic and on-boarded six new employees with a rousing all-hands bell ringing. Phew. Maybe it truly is a great place to work!
